Awards 

The Samiti has instituted these awards to recognize individuals or organizations that have made significant contributions towards the cause of the Girl Child and are presented on March 8th, which is observed as International Women’s Day worldwide.

This award is presented to an institution that has made substantial contributions to the cause of National Integration and has helped Samiti in the implementation of its programs. In the past, it has been awarded to institutions such as Birla Vidya Niketan, Hans Raj Model School, and Bal Bharti Public School.

This award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to social work and has been presented in the past to individuals such as Mrs. Soli Sorabji, KumariSurrendarSaini, and Shri J.H. Chinchalkar.

This award is given to a woman who, despite difficult financial and social circumstances, has educated her children and helped them to achieve a comfortable position in life. The Samiti solicits nominations for the award from NGOs of various states and UTs.

This trophy and citation are presented for the overall best performance in the fine and performing arts and literary competitions at Nehru Bal Mela.

These awards are given to heads of educational institutions and other individuals who distinguish themselves in the spheres of Art and Culture and Academic Excellence and also extend support for Samiti’s projects in educational and social spheres.

These awards are presented to children who excel in painting competitions organized at the Annual Bal Mela.

​The following awards have been instituted from the year 1998.

Children who perform real good brave deeds for protecting or saving the life of one or more individuals or a group from death or a tragedy, shall be considered for this award.

Each institutional member of the Samiti can propose one art or music teacher with a short Bio-Data of the teacher concerned with his/her photograph and the deservedness of the nominee concerned. The selection committee shall make the final selections.
