We aim to empower women and youth in underprivileged communities, which in turn helps empower the communities they live in.
Our initiatives focus on fostering economic independence for women and youth by imparting them with life skills and vocational training. Each year, around 100-150 women and young people are impacted by our community and livelihood programs.
Our key initiatives for women and youth empowerment include:
Beauty Culture Centre
NBS runs a Beauty Culture Centre where professional beauty training is imparted to women from underprivileged communities. The aim is to impart skills that could lead to job opportunities and income generation
Sew and Stitch
Another program is ‘Sew and Stitch’, where we impart garment stitching, needlework training to women from less privileged communities so they are able to find paid work which will help foster their economic independence
Professional Computer Training and English Speaking Classes
We offer professional Computer training courses and English-speaking classes to young people from less privileged communities so they are able to seek employment opportunities.
